Proper fit is key
Look your best in a suit tailor-made for you, with correct measurements tailored for your height and build. A good rule of thumb is to make sure that the cuff of your jacket sits no lower than the base of your palm and no higher than your wrist bone. Trousers should have the hem tailored to just touch the top of the shoe without a break.

Select the correct fabric
Choose a lightweight fabric for warmer weather and heavier fabrics for winter. There is also wrinkle-ability, durability, and care to think about. Always talk to your tailor about how you plan to use/wear your new garments, and we can help you select the best fabrics for your circumstances.


Correct Length
As stated earlier, proper fit is key- but it's much more than the length of your pants hem and sleeves. You also want to make sure that your jacket length is long enough in back to fully cover your seat. And a good tailor can make much needed nips and tucks to flatter your frame- helping you to appear more slender, taller, or bulkier if you wish. (Tip: you can also ask for a convenient inside jacket pocket to be added to store your passport or other personal items!)

Realize how much shirt sleeve to show
Details make all the difference. For example, be sure that your shirt sleeve peeks out no more than a centimetre from beneath the cuff of your jacket. If you show too much, it can make the sleeve of your jacket look too short.
