Phuket, Pearl of the Andaman

Emerald blue seas dotted with tropical islands, or luxury spas and high end dining, the reasons to visit Phuket keep building.
Phuket lies amidst hundreds of miles of coastline bordering the Andaman Sea and is literally on the doorstep of thousands of islands, countless  pristine white sand beaches, and crystal waters with superb coral reefs. All these combine with a tropical climate to create one of the world’s most stunning cruising waters.
Phuket is a great place to start a charter or to keep your own yacht. It is the gateway to the natural wonders of Phang-nga Bay where over 100 islands of diverse geology dot the warm waters and are perfect for short day cruises. For longer vacations try the white sand beaches of the Similan Islands, or take time to explore at leaisure of out of the way islands, marine parks, and beach clubs  between Phuket and Langkawi.
Phuket is also host to the Asian Superyacht Rendezvous, the Kings Cup Regatta, and other events  year round. A surge in the development of marina facilities and in the number of yachts available for charter mean that Thailand is set to burst upon the international scene as the world’s newest yachting playground.
Ashore on Phuket there are top  restaurants and swanky spas for those who want to indulge. The island has a great variety of shopping, from bustling open-air village food markets, noisy night markets, street stalls and local shops to western style department stores and upmarket specialist shops. If the outdoors are more you’re calling then try deep sea fishing, SCUBA diving coral reefs, or just hanging out on one of the many nearby beaches.
