At Polestar Pilates Asia, there is an increasing demand for advanced look at exercises that are designed for people who are involved in rotational sports, such as golf and tennis, as well as those who are simply looking to improve their health and wellness. That demand has been heard, and on April 28, 2018, Polestar Pilates will be addressing this by delivering an advanced 8-hour Pilates course on Rotational Sports, including techniques and exercises designed to keep your client’s muscles healthy while performing these sports.
While this is sure to be exciting news for anyone who is involved in rotational sports, it gets even better, as the Rotational Sports course will be led by Polestar Pilates Senior Educator Alexander Bohlander! In addition, Mr. Bohlander will also be leading Pilates for Men (Healthy and Happy Men), and Introduction to Neurorehabilitation with Pilates, 4 hours each, on Sunday 29 Apr 2018. There will be much to learn on this jam-packed weekend and you will be getting that education from one of the best in the business.
When playing rotational sports, a tremendous amount of strain is placed on many different muscles at the same time. It goes without saying that the risk of serious injury increases when that much strain is placed on so many different muscles. There becomes something of an imbalance that can cause the lesser used muscles to be weaker, and it is often those ones that pay the price for all that extra strain. Pilates is an excellent way to build strength evenly throughout the muscles, while maintaining a balance that will help reduce injury.
Polestar Education’s Rotational Sports course teaches Pilates practitioners to incorporate Pilates exercises into the training/rehabilitation sessions of these athletes to develop greater stability, core control, and range of motion while decreasing fatigue, injuries, and biomechanical issues.
Polestar Pilates Asia offers the perfect opportunities for you to engage in Pilates training from the best educators in the business. We have everything you need– from Gateway courses for personal trainers, Yoga instructors, and physiotherapists looking to add Pilates to their existing repertoire, to advanced CEC courses that will keep your professional Pilates skills updated and fresh, and/or adds additional skills and training to your practice.
