Taste of Scan is hosting tastings of their delicious, juicy and tender pork from 11:00-19:00 on the 13-15 October at Main ParknShop locations across Hong Kong. Please follow our Facebook for more details. This is a great time to try out Taste of Scan’s innovative flower fed pork, which is simple to cook to perfection and full of healthy Omega-3 fats! More good news: The first 100% antibiotic-free batch of Omega-3 Pork was delivered to Hong Kong in August 2017!
All of the premium pork shipped to Hong Kong from Taste of Scan comes from one Nordic Farm, the Antikainen pig farm. Earlier in 2017, a major decision was made, and since mid-February 2017, they have produced all of their flower fed pork completely free from antibiotics. The Antikainen pig farm is situated in the municipality of Aura near Turku, Finland and is one of the Taste of Scan’s most trusted breeders.
And we must mention that for over 5 years, Taste of Scan’s farmers, including the Antikainens, have worked closely with both the Natural Resources Institute Finland and the University of Helsinki to produce award-winning flower fed, Omega-3 pork. Thanks to this extensive research and collaboration, the resulting succulent, nutrient-rich premium pork is now both affordable and accessible to many in Hong Kong.
Taste of Scan carries a strong reputation for quality, conscious farming practices, animal welfare and smaller scale production. The Antikainen pig farm enjoys pure, clean air and water year-round. This along with investments they have made into developing meticulous farming practices has ensured that they produce the safest and most tasty meat there is. Nordic farmers raise, care for and feed their animals just like they have done for centuries, in small family farms run in harmony with what nature brings.
Be sure to stop by ParknShop to try Taste of Scan’s delicious, juicy and tender pork!
