Have fun and try different pairings, there is a lot of diversity in this alcoholic beverage. Beer is a friend of pork in general, whether you’re using as a marinade or cooking with it. Light beers are best paired with lighter dishes or simply used as a refreshing beverage. For the perfect pork pairing, we recommend a hoppy or rich ale, especially with slightly richer dishes like ribs, bacon, ham or sausage. For an intense flavor porter-style beers often make a good match. Ultimately finding the perfect pairing depends on your taste buds - so feel free to experiment with your fave beers!

This Pulled Pork recipe is perfect for serving to your family, for hosting a party or for those who simply enjoy having leftovers for several days. Using a slow cooker is perfect for those very busy workdays, but you can also use a grill or an oven. If you choose to not use a slow cooker, let your pork marinate in the spice rub for a couple hours before cooking.
