Fit in a 5-Minute Workout Even on Super Busy Days


There are days that are completely chaotic, when you know your workout schedule is going to take a hit. Take a Five Minute Walk
Start walking -anywhere- and see just how far you can walk in 5 mins! Not only will this add a bit of fitness to your day, it’s also a great way to clear your head and refocus on whatever is awaiting your attention at the office or at home.

Desk Workout
If you are going to be sitting at your desk all day, why not work out at your desk? There are many exercises that you can do at your desk like pushups, tap squats, and heel raises. They do not take a lot of time, so you can easily do them when you are not busy or when you are on break. Maybe you can motivate some of your colleagues to join you as well. This little burst of movement can help clear your mind and boost your energy!

Dance
Dancing is a lot of fun, works out many muscle groups, and you can dance just about anywhere. All you need is a pair a headphones and room to get your groove on. This can help you wake up, and you only need to listen to a song or two. Even grooving in your office chair can help boost your energy levels, even without the coffee.

Play with Your Kids
Most parents do not think about all the times that they spend running after and playing with their kids as exercise. Stop sitting and watching- go on the swings, go down the slide, run around in the sand, play tag…get dirty! Life doesn’t have to be so organized and serious all the time, enjoy yourself and the time spent with the little ones.

Squats
Squats can be done just about anywhere, and they only take a few seconds to do. You can easily just keep dropping items to get your reps in without people questioning what you are doing. (sneaky!)

Even working out for five minutes at a time is better than not working out at all. There are many exercises that you can do in a short amount of time that workout many muscles groups and burn calories.
